Versa is an app that helps you buy units in funds managed by AHAM Asset Management. That is why there is no PIDM: this is an investment, not a deposit. Returns come from the unit price going up.
Money sits with trusteesNot in Versa's own account.Explain
Assets are held by independent trustees (HSBC, Deutsche, CIMB), separate from Versa's company money. Even if Versa closed, your units remain. Versa is regulated by the Securities Commission.

Why Daus uses Versa, and what he does not like
What Daus likes
- Cash-i can reach the bank the same day before 10 am. Daus once withdrew RM60,000 and it arrived that day.
- RM10 minimum and no account fee, so people can start small.
- Quests pay boosters on Save if you stay disciplined with Auto Save.
What Daus does not like
- Withdrawals are not instant, except Cash-i before 10 am. Invest funds take up to 6 business days.
- Verification can take days, and the app shows RM0 meanwhile.
- Boosters need a RM1,000 balance and Auto Save discipline. No PIDM.

No, it's not trading. Versa is a save-and-invest app where your money buys fund units managed by AHAM. It has 3 parts: Save (Cash, Cash-i), Invest (21 funds including Gold), and PRS, with no fast buy-sell like trading.
Is Versa safe, or is it a scam?
Versa is regulated by the Securities Commission Malaysia as a recognised market operator. Your money sits with an independent trustee (HSBC, Deutsche, CIMB), not in Versa's own company account.

If Versa goes bankrupt, what happens to your money?
Your units stay with AHAM and the trustee, separate from Versa's own money. Versa itself uses the analogy of "a fireproof safe in the house". Daus has a dedicated video about this.

Is there PIDM protection?
No, because this is an investment, not a bank deposit. Protection comes from the trust account and trustee setup, not PIDM.
